Dear Friends and Recyclers,
It has now been a month since we implemented a host of measures to protect the health of our recycling team and our community. Like everyone, we are working to adapt to the current normal that greatly impacts our daily lives at every level. 406 Recycling remains committed to providing data-secure, responsible electronics recycling, and event recycling service now and going forward. Here is an update on our current operations, how you can help us as a local business, and some highlights of how we’ve been able to be part of critical efforts serving our community.
Data Destruction and Electronics Recycling Services:
- Our monthly events host at and in support of Good Samaritan are currently canceled while the State of Montana shelter in place guidelines are in effect. These monthly events hosted the last non-holiday Friday of the month will resume with new safety measures as early as May 29.

- 406 Recycling is an essential business and remains open with measures in place to ensure the safety and health of our recycling team, clients and community. We are collecting from businesses and households and allowing drop-offs by appointment. Please call us at (406) 449 – 6008 for details and to schedule a pickup or drop-off.

- We are still scheduling recycling services for events of all sizes from weddings to large music festivals. We recognize event scheduling is subject to change at this time. Our services include recycling the basics from cans, cardboard, glass, and plastic to full Zero Waste events working with compostable dining ware. Give us a call!
All in this together:
While our team is separated, with one employee furloughed, one working from home, one employee at the shop and one on limited hours with collection outdoor projects, we’re proud to be a team and find ways to serve our community. Here are some of the opportunities we’ve found to help those of the front lines serving those in need and keeping us safe during these challenging times:

Thank you for recycling! Stay strong and healthy!
Sincerely,
The 406 Recycling Team
