406 Recycling provides Montana businesses, organizations, government agencies, and households with secure, convenient, and local electronics recycling. We are committed to environmental stewardship, data security, and safety.  We only ship electronics to R2/RIOS or E-Steward certified facilities for recycling. By shipping to R2/RIOS and E-Steward facilities, we are able to ensure high environmental stewardship standards are met through the entire end-of-life recycling process.

Our History

Headquartered in Helena, Mt., 406 Recycling was founded in 2018. The 406 Recycling team is led by owner, Matt Elsaesser who has decades of combined experience running recycling operations and advocating for recycling in Montana.
